The rocking of the cart and white noise of all the shoppers at Trader Joes lulled James to sleep this afternoon. I'm not going to lie, I took a few extra laps around the store. With a coffee sample and a chance to explore more options than my regular weekly staples, I couldn't resist.
He's still asleep in the car, and I think we may take an extra long ride home. Some quiet time for momma and much needed nap for James are in order for this afternoon, if only we had a drive through Starbucks relatively close...

I've been resorting to the car trick for awhile. I'm pretty much at the Sonic drive-through every day. You can't beat a half-priced Cherry Coke Zero and a little quiet :)
Grocery shopping exhausts me, too!
I used to have to be put to sleep by being driven around in a car.. LOL. I still fall asleep in the car as a passenger! Enjoy the quiet time. :) XOXO-Vy
