Correction - Heaven Week

Josh thought the title of my last post was a little harsh, and since he is my hero I am issuing a retraction on the previous blog title.

Now that I have logged a few more hours of zzz's, I am in pure heaven, and Josh has been all along.  I mean how could he not be?  He's been hanging with his best bud 24/7.

I'm a pretty smitten momma as well.
We are such a happy family of three (+ Molly who is happily snoozing right now with James).

Not harsh, but honest. The first week is definitely not easy! As mothers, we set these expectations for ourselves and children and it can be very disheartening when things don't go according to plan. In due time, you will learn to let go and you'll be thrilled with the smallest accomplishments. For me, it's being able to wash my hair and shave my legs in one shower... it seems simple but it's not easily accomplished with a 22-month-old running around, playing with your tampons. =)

I feel for you girly. It is the hardest job & the best job in the world. Sounds like your husband is doing an amazing job! Hang in there. I'm sure you have heard a thousand times that 6 weeks is the magic number. It is so stressful because you are already such an amazing mother worrying about your little guy. Props to you on working so hard @ nursing & doing everything you can to keep it going :)

Reading your blog with Reid in my lap, and he keeps saying, "baby, baby". Can't wait for everyone to meet! Hang in there and enjoy the ride.

What precious moments your photographer caught...love these pictures. James could not be any more beautiful...or should I say handsome! :) I would say the first 3 months (the 4th trimester) are so difficult and then life starts to get a little bit more "routine". Hang in there- the roller coaster of mommy hood has just begun. James is so lucky to have you and Josh as his parents!
