With the start of the Junior League year and the sorority ladies I advise headed back to school, it's been a really busy few weeks. Add to that all my physical therapy and workout classes and I am hardly home.
I'm so glad to have some more energy right in the middle of my second trimester, but it's going to be time to take it a little more easy sooner rather than later, and tomorrow reality of finding out a little more about this baby sets in. We are finding out if it's a boy or a girl!!
The past few weeks have been so nice, I still get sick a few times a day and my back still hurts despite going to physical therapy three times a week-but I have felt like a functioning human being for more than a month now, and that's a really good feeling. Except for the slight fluttering I feel in my tummy and the previously mentioned symptoms-I can almost forget I'm preggo, until everyone around me is having a beautiful glass of wine, then I remember all too fast-ha!
I think once I know who this baby is, it will be all I think about 24/7, which is awesome and totally overwhelming all at the same time. I was so excited to set the ultrasound appointment, but now I wouldn't mind pushing it back a week or two, I wonder if I'll feel the same way when my due date roles around?!

Can't wait to hear what it is!
I am guessing girl!
How exciting! I'm super busy with the start of the JL year as well. Craziness! Are you NoVA or the DC league?
I think a lot of us are in the same boat with work, JL & Recruitment, but adding a pregnancy in the mix? Wow, I know you must be exhausted at times. Thinking of you & hoping you're getting plenty of rest. Best wishes for your ultrasound appointment - how exciting!! Can't wait to hear who your little bundle turns out to be :)
