A Southern Wedding

Only in the South can you be double second step cousins and sisters all at the same time.  My cousin Mindy got married this past weekend in Newnan, GA.  We’re sorority sisters she an Alpha Alpha from UGA, and me an Alpha Nu from UF.  She is certainly a shining star, both a doctor and a NASCAR fan, once again probably a duo only found south on the Mason Dixon line.  Josh and I had a wonderful time visiting with family, it was great! 

My uncle Brad had us over to his house for a grill out on Friday night, the last time I saw everyone was at my wedding a year ago.  We really enjoyed the spread including some of the best banana pudding I’ve ever had.  I need to get the recipe!  I also got to catch up with my cousin Ansley who is getting married later this year.  I can’t wait for that sin dig!

My uncle Hutch owns a florist and did the flowers for the wedding, they were amazing.  So creative and beautiful.

The end of the night, I guess we were a little busy dancing to the 12 piece band, and eating all the chicken salad, fried shimp, fried okra, and fried dill pickles we could get our hands on, or maybe that was just me…
