I also know I'm completely blessed with his sleeping. He slept though the night since he was one month old, and usually goes right along with our daily schedule. We had recently transitioned to two - two hour naps with two - 45 minute cat naps, and I'm not going to lie that I was enjoying those four hours of mommy productivity. I was getting to check off all the things (and more) off my to-do list. So I was feeling pretty darn good about myself and this whole stay at home wife and mom thing.
My bestie and mommy mentor let me know from the get-go, "it's all a phase. Good or bad it's only for a short period of time. It's so true. I can't believe how fast he is growing, changing and learning and I want to cherish each moment (and be a pretty good wife to Josh while I'm at it).
We have such a blast everyday and it's amazing how overwhelmingly joyful and difficult each and every moment as a new mom can be. Just as I think I've got the hang of it-something changes. Yes, that's life. I should know that by now...

So charming, so cute, so fun. Not .125 seconds after I snapped this picture was there spit up all over him and the sofa-always keeping me on my toes. |
